Base Home is a creative centric workplace located in Portland, Oregon, reimagined as a functional haven for creativity, collaboration, and community. The space is designed to move beyond the traditional co-working model, instead fostering an environment where ideas are exchanged freely, relationships are built organically, and individuals are encouraged to grow through shared experience.

At its core, Base Home is grounded in the belief that workspaces should inspire as much as they support function. The interior is intentionally layered to balance productivity with comfort, creating a seamless flow between focused work, collaboration, and rest. Each zone is thoughtfully programmed to encourage interaction while still allowing for moments of solitude and reflection.

The co-working hub includes a series of intentionally designed environments a welcoming lounge for informal connection, a fully equipped conference room for meetings and presentations, a quiet study area for focused work, an in-house kitchen that anchors the communal experience, a photography studio for creative production, and an outdoor retreat that extends the workspace into nature.

Each programmatic element contributes to a holistic ecosystem designed to support a wide range of creative needs.

Materiality plays a defining role in shaping the atmosphere. Light, airy wood tones establish a sense of warmth and ease, while soft neutral foundations allow the space to feel open and breathable. These are complemented by carefully placed vibrant color accents that inject energy and personality, reinforcing the creative spirit of the environment without overwhelming its calm structure.
